Lazy Lizard

Here is a sketch I did tonight of a Lazy Lizard in pencil crayon with some digital touch ups.

Visual Metaphor

     As my final project in my Digital Imaging Course we were asked to compose a Visual Metaphor using Photoshop. I chose to portray the idea of beating a dead horse as the direct metaphor, though it also encompasses some commentary on the police state and surveillance. I have created a short animation to demonstrate my process in creating this piece and I have included my source imagery, all used for educational purposes. I am pleased with end result and I hope it will provoke some thought.

Dead Dance

This is a digital collage that I completed recently as an assignment in my Digital Imaging course. I began working without any vision or plan in mind, but through playing with some images of lightning, I gained the inspiration for this piece, Dead Dance. I was working on this piece as Halloween was approaching, which helped inspire the imagery as well as the color palette. Leave a comment and let me know what you guys think!
